Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential” list was released this morning, and in addition to Lil Wayne singing the praises of Nicki Minaj, the magazine got Jennifer Lawrence to write about Adele, her friend and the only person who has gotten her to sing into a hairbrush in front of her mirror since Destiny’s Child.

In addition to confirming that Adele is not only as great as we think she is (actually, better!), JLaw, who hangs out with Adele on the regular, manages to sum up how we all feel about the singer.

 She writes:

Adele and I met at the Oscars in 2013. I remember sneaking backstage while she performed “Skyfall,” trying to squeeze a ball gown past a pile of ropes and cables just to get a little closer. See her from another angle as if to peek behind the Great Oz’s curtain. I had been a fan of hers since “Chasing Pavements” (saying “fan” about Adele always sounds like an understatement, doesn’t it?). Then when 21 came out, mine and billions of other lives were — not to sound dramatic — changed. Suddenly there were words to that before-indescribable pain, frustration, sadness, then revolution that all comes from a breakup. I felt understood, I felt stronger, and above all, I hadn’t sung in front of a mirror with a hairbrush since Destiny’s Child.

9 Things You Didn’t Know About Paul Walker That Will Restore Your Faith In Hollywood

By now everyone has heard of the recent tragedy involving Paul Walker and his close friend Roger Rodas. The two were involved in a car explosion after leaving a charity event they created together over this past weekend.

After someone passes away, it's customary for people to share their experiences with that person. Ever since Walker’s passing, numerous people have come forward to share their stories and kind words.

So today, in honor of this incredible individual, we are going to take a look at what others had to say about his life. We are also going to look at some of the most famous statements Walker has ever given. This will help us to gain insight into the young actor’s mind and what truly made him stand apart from the rest.

 He Was Charitable

Paul Walker and Roger Rodas set up a charity together called “Reach Out Worldwide” to help people harmed by natural disasters. In 2010, they both flew to Chile with their charity to assist those injured in the 8.8 magnitude earthquake. During the same year, Paul was extremely involved in relief efforts to help survivors of the tragic 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

 He Was A Family Man

“I think my mom put it best. She said, ‘Little girls soften their daddy’s hearts.'” Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter Meadow Rain. She recently moved from Hawaii to California to be closer to her father so they could work on their relationship.

In an interview with GQ, Walker revealed: “She keeps encouraging me to do all this stuff. I thought at this point in my life I would need to be home with her, but she wants me to keep acting so she can travel around the world with me. Would that be so bad?”

 He Was Career Driven

“There’s a lot of guys that just get comfortable with their positions and rest on their laurels. I had to earn my way.” Literally, he was career driven. Walker loved every aspect of being part of “The Fast And Furious” saga and has even gone so far as to say, “I wish I could be behind the wheel for every stunt.” He didn’t come from money, but instead worked as hard as possible to earn himself a name.

He Did Not Let Fame Define Him

“I’m not the least bit polished, I come from a blue collar background and I never thought I could feel comfortable around the English.” Not all celebrities have the ability to remain level headed when fame is thrust upon them. Paul Walker’s co-stars and the industry people who worked with him have all come forward to vouch for how amazing of a guy he was.

He Anonymously Bought A Couple An Engagement Ring

Walker was in a jewelry store when he overheard a couple discussing an engagement ring. The woman absolutely loved the $10K ring, but her fiancé, who had just returned from Iraq, told her he could not afford it. The couple left the store with no ring in hand, but received a call shortly after from an employee. They were told someone anonymously purchased their dream ring.

He Had A “Go Big Or Go Home” Mentality

“I live by ‘Go big or go home.’ That’s with everything. It’s like either commit and go for it or don’t do it at all. I apply that to everything. I apply that to relationships, I apply that to like sports, I apply that to everything. That’s what I live by. That’s how I like it.” He worked hard for what he achieved and he never took anything for granted. He stayed humble and appreciated his good fortune because he was the one who created it for himself.

 He Was Multifaceted

“I’m into being a dad, that’s where my focus is most of the time. I’m an actor that’s my job, but it’s not my life. I have a lot of other interests too.” Many people are unaware that Walker was picked to play Superman for Warner Brothers and he turned down the role. He did not want that to be his entire life. He wanted to pursue everything life had to offer. Acting was just a job for him, it wasn’t who he was. He was a family man and a surfer; he was not a fame-obsessed Hollywood star.

 He Wasn’t Afraid Of Anything

“I’m not afraid of anything. That’s just the way I am.” Nothing scared this guy, he understood life was about taking risks because that’s where the greatest rewards are achieved.

 He Kept His Life Private

Unlike many Hollywood actors and actresses, Paul Walker’s name was never making headlines for anything out of the norm. He was all business when he needed to be and a family man off the screen. He didn’t publicize his relationships and many people didn’t even know he had a daughter until the news of his death was announced. He wasn’t an attention seeker, he was just a straight up hardworking man who wanted to make the most out of his life.

R.I.P. Paul Walker, you will be missed.

Model has a cheeky response to fat haters

Watch out next time!!!

Iskra Lawrence posts a video in response to the commenter who called her a “fat cow”. The incident comes as Amy Schumer complains to Glamour about being labelled as plus-size.

Body-shimmers should watch out because celebrities are now fighting back. Iskra Lawrence who is a British model had a creative and cheeky response recently to a commenter who called her a fat cow on Instagram.

She posted a photo of herself wearing lingerie and surrounded herself by bags of potato chips which are a defiant sneer on her face then putting her left hand buried in a bag as if in mid-snack. Then Lawrence followed that with a slow-motion Instagram video of her eating a chip and then making an obscene gesture to the camera.

She wrote to her 1.4 million followers that: ‘This is for anyone who has ever been called FAT. Ps I do not condone binge eating. I eat whatever I want in moderation. I will eat crisps but I’ll also make healthy home cooked meals and workout regularly. The message is who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you. YOU are the only one who decides your self-worth’

The 25 year old model Lawrence is a model for the Aerie line of lingerie while being the managing editor of the Runway Riot fashion site and an advocate for the National Eating Disorder Association. Her video had drawn more than 73,000 likes and almost 5,000 comments with the vast majority of them supportive by Wednesday afternoon.

Lawrence whose posts from Saturday have been widely shared in recent days joins other celebrities in a seemingly never-ending social media debate about body image and the shaming of people whose appearance doesn’t conform to Hollywood or Madison Avenue’s narrow standards of beauty.

Amy Schumer complained on Tuesday that Glamour magazine had featured her in an issue celebrating plus-size woman without her permission even though the actress-comedian is a size 6 to 8 in the U.S. and Glamour later apologized.

The size-16 model Ashley Graham who is one of three on the covers of Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue defended herself against remarks from supermodel Cheryl Tiegs who said she believed the cover glamorized being overweight last month.

Men are not immune although such body-image scrutiny appears mostly directed at women and the Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller went public last month about being depressed and suicidal six years ago when paparazzi snapped a photo of him looking chubby.

Lawrence who was once rejected by modeling agencies who told her she was too big has said it took her some time to grow comfortable with her body because she kept comparing herself with rail-thin models. She told Elle in February that she just had it in her head that her body was holding her back from her dreams and that she couldn’t achieve it because her body wasn’t right. She eventually learned that we are more than our body. Your body is your home and you need to love and respect it.

11 Strange Facts About Khloe Kardashian

1. A High School Drop-Out

As a teen, Khloe had trouble fitting in. That’s quite strange considering her very bold personality on TV. Apparently, Khloe dropped out from Marymount High School, a Catholic all-girls school in Bel Air, and ended up being home schooled.

2. Depression Over His Father’s Death

The death of Khloe’s father led to her depression. As a result, Khloe’s hair fell out and exposed patches of baldness on her head. This prompted her to wear wigs and extensions until she fully recovered from the stress brought about by her father’s demise.

3. Khloe Stole Her Mom’s Car

Khloe was given a used car as a present and that drove the teenage raging mad. Not so strange right? And because of this, Khloe had to steal her mom’s car to drive her friends out or go to a party. What she didn’t expect though was that her mom’s car suddenly caught on fire. Oops!

4. A Huge Christian Bale Fan

Khloe confessed that Christian Bale used to be his biggest crush. In fact Khloe and her brother, Rob, were obsessed with Bale’s Batman movies! Well, that might still be true until today. What do you think?

5. “The Voice of Reason”

Among the Kardashian siblings, Khloe is definitely the most sarcastic one. More than that, she never hesitates dropping the bomb whenever it needs to be told. In fact, Khloe was the one to predict that Kim and Kris Humpries’ marriage won’t last very long considering that their relationship really didn’t have a strong foundation. And bet she was right!

6. Lamar Odom Was The Only Man She Brought Home

Khloe has never been seen out with many guys, and that got her family wondering about her love life. Of course you know all about the relationship of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. But contrary to popular belief, Khloe introduced only one guy to her family and that is no other than her ex-husband Lamar Odom.

7. All Expense Paid Wedding Celebration

Khloe married Los Angeles Lakers pro basketball forward Lamar Odom only after a month of dating. And they didn’t have to pay a cent for it. E! network paid everything from their engagement to their wedding for the TV network to have the rights to air the wedding on E! TV Special. What’s even more interesting is the fact that they even received hundreds of dollars after selling the exclusive rights of their wedding photos to OK! Magazine.

8. Car Accident

At the age of 17, Khloe got herself into a serious car accident that had her flying through the windshield of the vehicle. Because of this, Khloe suffered brain damage and memory loss. Even until this day, the socialite still tends to forget certain things quite fast.

9. She Was Made Into a Play

10.  Used To Be a Regular Boutique Worker

Far from her fancy life today as a reality star, Khloe Kardashian used to have a simple life as a regular boutique worker at the family’s DASH store in Calabasas. But all that changed after Kim’s sex tape landed the headlines and was exploited by the Kardashians to catapult themselves into the spotlight.

11. Rumors of Her Real Dad

It cannot be denied that Khloe has different physical appearance than that of her sisters. And because of that, it created quite a huge controversy when her stepmother claimed that Khloe isn’t Robert Kardashian’s biological child, but that of OJ Simpson’s. Khloe then took a paternity test to prove that she was a real Kardashian.

Nothing Comes Between Kendall Jenner and Her Calvins… Except Calvin Klein

Instagram @kendalljenner

From walking in couture on the Chanel runway to strutting in bedazzled lingerie at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Kendall Jenner has clearly been making waves in the fashion industry. Unfortunately, not everyone in fashion is on Team Kendall. In fact, Calvin Klein (the designer, not the brand) is very much not a fan of the reality TV starlet-turned-smoldering-model, even if she did star in his brand’s campaigns both in 2015 and 2016.

Fashionista reports that while appearing at the Savannah College of Art and Design on April 14, the iconic American fashion designer expressed his disappointment over the decision of his namesake brand — from which he left in 2002 after the company was acquired by PVH — to feature Jenner as one of the stars of its campaign. “You know, I’m really not that familiar with it… I’m sure she’s a lovely young woman. It’s not the kind of thing I would have done, even today,” Klein reportedly said.

Klein clarified that he doesn’t agree with the current trend of having Instagram celebrities and reality stars model for brands simply based on publicity or follower count: “Now, models are paid for how many followers they have. They’re booked not because they represent the essence of the designer, which is what I tried to do — they’re booked because of how many followers they have online. I don’t think that, long-term, is going to work… I don’t think that’s a great formula for success for the product you’re trying to sell.”

In addition, the designer made it clear that Jenner isn’t the only Kardashian he doesn’t care to keep up with. “If you take really exquisite photographs of the right people in the right clothes in the right location, and you put it online, that’s fine,” he said, adding, “Just putting any old clothes on Kim Kardashian, long-term, isn’t going to do a thing.”

However, Klein isn’t totally against social media-friendly celebrities modeling his tighty-whities; in fact, when it comes to pop star Justin Bieber‘s ads for the same company, he revealed that he was totally on board with the brand’s selection.

“I think they’re very good,” Klein commented. “So many people wanted to be on a billboard or in an ad or in a commercial, and for sure Justin Bieber wanted to do it. I thought that was really good… When [I say] I like Justin Bieber in the Calvin Klein underwear [campaign], it’s because I like him — not because he’s got millions of followers.”

Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ Video Feat. Charlie Puth Pays Tribute to Paul Walker

Wiz Khalifa‘s new video for “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth remembers the late Paul
Walker‘s role in the Fast and Furious franchise.

The video, filmed against the stunning backdrop of the Los Angeles skyline, shows Wiz and Charlie rapping and singing, respectively, alongside some seriously sporty cars. It’s a subtle way to tie in the song with Furious 7.

By far, the most touching parts are the clips of Paul from various Fast and Furious movies interspersed throughout the video. It’s an emotional, yet fitting, way to commemorate the actor’s life and his role in the franchise, which began in 2001. Paul tragically died in a car accident in November 2013.

Back in March, Charlie spoke with PopCrush about recording “See You Again.”

“[With] Wiz we had blank verses — meaning me on the chorus and it was just instrumental — and we needed a rapper to fill in those spaces, and he just put so much soul into that record,” he explained. “… He’s so busy, but now I’ve gotten to know him really, really well and he’s a great guy. Really, really talented and has a good ear for melodic stuff, as does Meghan [Trainor]. So Wiz would send in bits and pieces of it; we would piece it together. He made it really easy, honestly. He just sent it and we dropped it in and it sounded great. That’s how I knew that he was the right person for the record.”

You can watch Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth in the video above.

Paul Walker Net Worth After The Car Crash

Paul Walker Net Worth is $32 Million

Quick facts about Paul Walker

Date of birth: September 12, 1973
Place of birth: Glendale, California, United States
Occupation: actor
Died: November 30, 2013 in Valencia, California, United States

Almost a year later after the death of Paul Walker, it’s still hard to believe he is not with us anymore especially providing the fact that his last project, action film Fast and Furious 7, isn’t even released yet. Its release is scheduled for April 2015 and $7 million more is expected to be paid for Paul Walker’s role. At the moment of his death, Paul Walker’s wealth was estimated at $25 million with more than 50 percent of this amount coming from his properties, but with Fast and Furious 7 earnings it should make about $32 million. Where all this money goes? To his only daughter Meadow who is now 17 years old.

So how did it all started, you ask. How did Paul Walker accumulate this wealth before dying at the age of 40? Similarly to Drake and some other celebrities we’ve already covered here, Paul started very young. In fact, he started his career as young as two years old modeling for Pampers commercials. We have no idea how he managed to land Pampers contract but apparently this helped his parents to form relationships that helped him in the future. When Paul turned 12, he began appearing on television shows and his film career began when he was only 13.

Paul Walker died in a car accident on November 30, 2013 along with his friend Roger Rodas who was a pro-am racer and was the driver at the moment of crash. Unreasonably high speed seems to be the only reason of the accident.

Fast and Furious 8, 9 and 10: Vin Diesel's action series cast, release date and cars - everything you need to know

"headline": "Fast and Furious 8, 9 and 10: Vin Diesel's action series cast, release date and cars - everything you need to know", "articleBody": "Fast & Furious 7 surprised everyone when it became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time earlier this year, which obviously means an eighth instalment is on its way. And a ninth. And a tenth. The world can't get enough of Dominic Toretto and his multi-cultural gang, who have grown from simple street racers to heist kings in a Mission: Impossible-Ocean's Eleven hybrid.

Fast 8 will be released worldwide on April 14, 2017, but fans are already searching for the latest updates. So here's everything we know so far, with the newest information right at the top...

Fast & Furious 8 release date: It will kick off "one last" trilogy of films

A photo posted by Vin Diesel (@vindiesel) on

Vin Diesel revealed to his fans on Facebook that Furious 8 intends to begin a new trilogy of films, that will ultimately end the franchise altogether with Furious 10.

He said: "Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision… they have been like family… I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."

With Furious 7 concluding Brian O'Conner's story arc and introducing Kurt Russell's Mr Nobody, it's fair to predict that the new trilogy will focus on Dom's team being set new challenges each time.

9 will be released April 19, 2019 and 10 will follow on April 2, 2021.

Straight Outta Compton's F Gary Gray will direct

After speculation that Vin Diesel himself may step up and direct the eighth instalment, it was revealed in October 2015 that F Gary Gray has signed up to be the top man.

Riding high off the success of his NWA biopic box office smash, the director revealed that he will succeed James Wan. Gray has had action experience before, having helmed The Italian Job, A Man Apart and The Negotiator. Plus, the video for OutKast's 'Ms Jackson'.

 It's called Fast 8

Just to make things more confusing, Vin Diesel has confirmed that the latest film will be called Fast 8. This follows Furious 7, Fast & Furious 6, Fast Five and so on. Vin clearly can't stick to a single title for this franchise.

However, the UK will make things a tad easier by calling it Fast & Furious 8.

Fast & Furious 8 cast: Scott Eastwood signs up

Clint's son Scott has officially joined the cast as a new character that works alongside Kurt Russell's Mr Nobody.

Scott posted an emotional tribute to Paul Walker after his casting was announced, explaining that the two were close friends for years:
It's hard to put into words how excited I am for the next Fast & Furious. To me, the series is so much more than just a franchise. It’s a legacy. These great actors who have been in it together for so long have become a family. I absolutely can’t wait to join it. Now I can’t say too much, but I get to play a new character who operates under Kurt Russell in the movie, which is incredible, because Kurt was a total childhood hero of mine growing up. Very much looking forward to learning a thing or two from such an original and cool guy. Paul was a close friend of mine. We surfed together, traveled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul’s story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true. Gary Gray and Neal Moritz - I can’t wait to get started and dive in. Vin - thank you for the support and the insight. Paul - I am going to make you proud. #F8

Will Eva Mendes make a long-awaited return?

Inside sources have claimed that Mendes may make a comeback in Furious 8 as agent Monica Fuentes. But this has yet to be officially confirmed.

Monica was a main character in 2 Fast 2 Furious, but made a post-credits cameo in Fast Five. Reports claim that she might team up with Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Dom (Vin Diesel) to take on a new villain in New York.

Will there be a new O'Conner brother?

Following the sad passing of co-lead star Paul Walker, his character Brian O'Conner was written out of the story at the end of 7. It's assumed that Brian will not be coming back, though there's always a chance that he will be referenced as if he is still there in the background.

Paul's brothers Cody and Caleb Walker helped shoot scenes involving Brian for 7, and there has since been rumours that Cody could debut as Brian's younger brother. He landed his first movie role in 2015.

Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw will terrorise Dominic once again
Universal Pictures

Thought that was the last we'd see of The Stath? Think again! He said in June: "We're already talking about doing another one, part eight, and I'm a newcomer. I just got invited to the party in this last one, so it's nice to know that I'll be doing another."

Deckard was last seen being placed in a high-security jail by Hobbs, but he clearly didn't intend on staying there. With his brother Owen (Luke Shaw) still in hospital, perhaps he may be about to stage a prison break?

Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs will be back
Universal Pictures

Due to The Rock's ridiculously busy schedule, there were doubts that he would be back for another film, having arguably rescued the franchise with his debut in Fast Five.

However, he has put those doubts to rest, saying: "Of course. It can't go on without Hobbs!"

Dwayne has also expressed a huge interest in making a solo Hobbs movie, saying: "We all are interested in it. I just had a big conversation with the studio. So we'll see. I still think for me personally we've created a little bit of space for him in 7 and the gauge is set for what the audience will want."

Will Helen Mirren show how furious she can be?
Getty Images
This could be passed off as a silly quote from an interview, but it's so daft that we wouldn't be surprised if it ended up happening. She could be Jason Statham's angry mum!

In March 2015, Mirren said: "I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving. I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I'll be in Fast and Furious 8!"

Not only that, but Vin Diesel seems up for it, saying: "There are so many options!" an excited Diesel explained. "You've got Nathalie Emmanuel's mother [to cast]. You've got, of course, the matriarch to the Shaw brothers!"

Helen reiterated her comments a year later in April 2016, telling Graham Norton: "I would love to be Fast & Furious. It would be incredible fun to do those movies - you don't act! That and cars is a dream come true."

Charlize Theron leads a new team of femme fatales
Getty Images

Along with Mirren, it has been rumoured that Ruby Rose and Cara Delevingne have been courted for villainous roles. Again, this hasn't been confirmed but it could make things very interesting.

Best of all, Charlize Theron has been officially confirmed to be joining the cast as one of the film's main villains. Clearly, her Mad Max: Fury Road appearance was one hell of an audition.

Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey is also expected to make a return after her brief role in Furious 7, along with fellow UFC fighter Joanna Jędrzejczyk.

Will Lucas Black drift back in?
Universal Pictures

One of the nerdy highlights of 7 was seeing Tokyo Drift lead Black's Sean Boswell return (despite looking 8 years older between scenes). When he first signed up, he apparently committed to three instalments, so hopefully Sean will be back.

With Brian O'Conner leaving the series, Sean would be the perfect character to take his place as Vin's right-hand man. He is a brilliant driver, and has Brian's style and sass.

'Fast and Furious 8' Cast Update: Brian O'Conner Will No Longer Live in Cody Walker

Fans will have to say good-bye to the most beloved character in "Fast and Furious" as it has been recently confirmed that Cody Walker won't be returning to represent his brother, Paul, in the eighth installment.

It turns out that previous rumors about Cody's return in "Fast 8" are all false and were made by fans who really want to see Brian in the film. A representative from Universal Pictures told Polygon that fans shouldn't believe the rumors about Cody's involvement in the film. "There's no truth behind it," the rep said.

The news is heartbreaking to the many fans who saw Paul live in his brother's eyes in the seventh movie. Cody stepped up to the plate and took over some scenes that Paul wasn't able to complete for "Fast 7" and his performance was deemed very crucial in the making and success of the seventh film.

However, it is now obvious that he won't be coming back to help revive Brian O'Conner and he won't even be in the movie to make his own name.

The sad news comes about two weeks after Vin Diesel finally revealed the first poster for the movie. The New York skyline is featured in the image, giving a thumbs up to the actor's previous statements that the movie will be filming in downtown NYC.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that some scenes will be shot in Cuba, while other locations have not been determined just yet. Other details have yet to be revealed, but with news that Brian's memories will possibly not be relived in "Fast 8," some fans expressed disappointment.

The shock is understandable since Paul's character has largely become a pivotal part of the storyline. Without the actor nor his brother to join the set, it is easy to speculate that fans won't see Brian in the film after all.

"Fast 8" is expected to premiere sometime in April 2017, with Diesel reprising his role as Dominic Toretto.
